Christian Hurst, 71, husband of Emma, and residing at 1010 Hancock St. died unexpectedly Monday morning at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Greater Beneficial Union.
Survivors include his widow: nine daughters, Mrs. Darnel Bahnsen, Dayton. Mrs. William Feltz, Pelee Island; Mrs. Paul Fries. Battle Creek. Mich.: Miss Gertrude Hurst, Elyria; Mrs. Luther Mears, Mrs. Robert Mears, Mrs. William Mauer, Mrs. Raymond Renwand and Mrs. Oscar Ramm all of Sandusky: 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Christia Benecke, New Jersey, and one brother, John, New Jersey.
Services will be Wednesday a 2 p. m. at the Lutz Funeral Home. Dr. T. J. C. Stellhorn, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p. m. tonight.

Pallbearers were Robert Mears, Luther Mears, William Matter, Raymond Renwand, Daniel Bahnsen and Paul Fries.
