Amelia (Emilia) Bober (née Ptach) was born in Strebielin, West Prussia (now Strzebielino) and was baptized at Lusin (Luzino) Catholic parish. She was the daughter of Franz Ptach and Barbara Wielestowska (or Felstau) and the stepdaughter of August Witt. She immigrated to the U.S. about 1872 and married John Bober about 1873. Their children were born in Elmhurst. I'm not sure if they were married there also.

Note: birth date here according to baptism record which differs from death certificate (27 Oct 1848).
