Mrs. August Rehling - (Gesche Margarethe Marie Bülter) Who died at Orange, California, on July 3, 1920, was born at Varen, Germany, and was married at that place to August Rehling about 65 years ago. In 1880 the family came to the United States and located in Dodge county, Nebraska, where they remained five years, when they moved to this vicinity. Twelve years ago the deceased moved to Orange, California, her husband dying three years previous. Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Rehling, all of whom survive the mother: Ludwig, of Pender; Mrs. Sophia Ellenhausen, of Uehling; Mrs. Hermania Munderloh, of Bancroft; Herman, Fred and Mrs. Gesine Heineman, of Orange, California, and August, of Weisal, Idaho. The deceased was 85 years, 6 months and 14 days of age at the time of her death. She was a woman highly esteemed in this community, and the family have the sympathy of all in their great loss. The funeral took place at St. Peter's Lutheran church Sunday afternoon, Rev. William Nitzseke, the pastor, officiating. There was a large attendance.
