GONZALES — Carl E. "Ben" Semmler, 80, of Gonzales died Sunday, Dec. 31, 1995.
He was born Jan. 14, 1915, in Gonzales County to the late Robert R. and Virdie Fowler Semmler. He retired in 1973, from American Poultry and Egg Co. as a truck driver.
Survivors: wife, Virgie Nell Brzozowski Semmler; and sisters, Lilly May Cheatham of Belmont and Ruth Morris of New Braunfels.
Preceded in death by sisters, Maggie May Quinton and Rosie Rutherford; brothers, Fritz Semmler, Dick Semmler, Jim Semmler and Otto Semmler.
Services: 10 a.m. today at Buffington Funeral Home, the Rev. Arthur Newman officiating.
Burial: St. James Cemetery, Buffington Funeral Home, Gonzales, (210) 672- 3322.
Pallbearers: Ray Daniels, Mark Newman, Charles Beeson, Kenneth Brzozowski, Bart Brzozowski and Marvin Brzozowski.
