Death of J.H. Meyers
At the home of his sister, Mrs Joseph Hackmann, north of New Hampton, on Wednesday, April 10, 1907, occurred the death of Mr H.H. Meyer, aged 56 years. Mr Meyer had come from Minneapolis seven weeks before, to visit his sister and while at her home was taken ill with dropsy. The funeral was held from St Mary's Church last Friday and interment was in the parish cemetery [Calvary with wife]. Deceased is survived by three sisters -- Mrs Martin Meyer of Fort Atkinson, Mrs Jos. Hackman, and Mrs Henry Kipp of Minneapolis, all of whom were here for the funeral. He is also survived by two daughters and two sons, Peter and one daughter residing at Peoria, Ill, Matt at Minneapolis and Mrs Andrew Deering. New Hampton Gazette, 18 Apr 1907
