Born in Nuernberg, Germany on April 27, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Karl Hoereth and Paula Faux Hoereth. Herta was a member of Tree of Life East and a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons; Walter Wynn of Columbus, OH, Charles H. Wynn (Belinda) of Appomattox, Jerry K. Wynn (Linda) of Ashland, Peter D. Wynn (Stephanie) of Richmond; three daughters, Ruth A. Lingafelter (Wayne) of Columbus, OH, Katherine O. Edwards (Earl) of Norton, Herta W. Hastings (Shawn) of Appomattox; two brothers, Helmut Hoereth (Karin) and Hans Hoereth (Ulrike) all of Germany; 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and her best friend and faithful companion “Lady”.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010 in Herman Methodist Cemetery by the Rev. Kenny Lawhorne.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home on Sunday February 28, 2010 from 3-5:00pm and other times at the residence.
