Franz Erdmann (Erdenmaeur) alias Frank Hornig; arrived in WA 28 February 1884 per the "Franklin" from SA.
Served as a barman at Fremantle. Prospected in the Kimberley goldfield where he murdered his Norwegian companion Anthony Johnson (252057436) 31/10/1886.
Executed at Perth Gaol 4 April 1887.
