Josepha Ruder, 72, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, at her home in rural Victoria. She was born on Dec. 23, 1911 in Munjor to Anton and Margaret (Schmidt) Klaus.
She married Henry J. Ruder on May 8, 1928 in Munjor.
She was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella and the VFW Auxiliary, all of Victoria.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; four sons, Gerald, Grand Forks, N.D., Donald, Salina, Allen, Victoria, and Wayne, WaKeeney; two daughters, Pat Lang, Hays, and Darlene Werth, Schoenchen; two brothers, George J. Klaus, Hays, and William Klaus, Wichita; two sisters, Stella Randa, Hays, and Margie Urban, Chicago; 26 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
