Quinten "Pete" Hinnenkamp, age 80, of Litchfield, died on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at St. Benedict's Senior Community in St. Cloud, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 30, 2006 at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield with Father Paul Schumacher as celebrant. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home with a parish prayer service at 7:30 PM followed by Knights of Columbus Rosary. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Quinten Peter Hinnenkamp was born on January 14, 1926, to William and Elizabeth Angelbeck Hinnenkamp in Melrose, Minnesota. He grew up and received his education in Melrose. He was united in marriage to Ann Deters, on June 8, 1948, in Elrosa. In 1950, they moved to the Litchfield area where he engaged in farming. Pete was a dedicated custodian at St. Philip's Catholic Church from 1965 until 1988. He was an active member at Church of St. Philip and the Knights of Columbus. Pete enjoyed playing cards and loved family activities.
