Actor. One of the most popular German actors, Wussow developed a prolific and successful career on stage, where he debuted in 1947. Wussow became ensemble member at the famous Burgtheater in Vienna from 1964 to 1986. He then triumphed with his role of Professor Brinkmann on the television series "Die Schwarzwaldklinik" (The Black Forest Clinic), that ran from 1985 to 1989. Also a writer and painter, he granted honorary citizenship of Austria. His film credits also include "Blitzmädels an die Front" (1958), "Der Rote Kreis" (1960), "Die Tote von Beverly Hills" (1964), "Con la Muerte a la Espalda" (1967) and "Nägel mit Köpfen" (1986).
