JACOBSON, Lillian Porter Age 103, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2004.
She was born on January 24, 1901, in Shedd, Oregon, to parents Guy and May (Caldwell) Porter. She graduated from Albany High School in 1919. Lillian recieved her B.S. from Albany College and attended Southern Oregon College. Lillian married Clarence Schoenberger in 1932. They divorced.
She taught high school in Kings Valley, Drain, Cloverdale, Yamhill, and Yoncalla. In 1951, she moved to Sutherlin where she taught grade school until retirement in 1969.
Lillian married Albert Tiner Jacobson in 1954. He preceded her in death in October of 1983.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Wise of Madras Oregon; grandchildren, Mary Willson of North Bend, Oregon; Barbara Wise of Weston, Oregon; Susan Eichler of Modesto, California; David Eichler of Fairbanks, Alaska; Kenneth Eichler of Amity, Oregon; fourteen great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Albert and great-granddaughter, Teresa Eichler.
A family service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made in Lillian's name to the Sutherlin Senior Center. MUSGROVE FAMILY MORTUARY assisted the family with arrangements.
