She had been a member of the Kansas City Kansas Area Chamber of Commerce. She was a member and past president of the Kansas City, Kansas, Chapter of the International Federation of Business and Professional Women. Ms. Medved was a lifelong Kansas City, Kansas, resident. She was survived by two brothers, Frank J. Medved of Kansas City, Kansas, and John T. Medved o Overland Park, Kansas; and nephews and nieces.
Friends called on Monday evening at the Skradski Chapel, where the Rosary was said later that night. Services were held on Tuesday morning at the Skradski Chapel and at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery. The family suggested memorials to the Sisters Servants of Mary.
