Funeral. -- The relatives and friends of Mr. Johann Dietrich Thielbahr, who died on the 3rd instant at the age of 26 years, after a long illness, gathered yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home, No. 16 Bevan Street, to pay their last respects. Pastor Keller of St. Luke's Church, corner of Henrietta- and Eutaw-Street, spoke comforting words to mourners at the home, whereupon the cortege moved on to Western Cemetery, where the casket was submitted to the bosom of the earth. Pallbearers were Messrs. Karl Köhlmann, Leonhard Hammerbacher, Louis Martin, Hermann Fortenburger, Louis Magert and Louis Denny.
Mr. Joh. Dietrich Thielbahr was born November 24, 1853 in Alt-Schönbeck, Amt Lesum, Hanover, and came in 1866 to Baltimore, where he learned the shoemaking trade from his father, Joh. Dietrich Thielbahr. The deceased leaves both parents, four brothers and a sister.
