Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2015, age 89 years.
Reuben was born December 7, 1925, in Saginaw, the son of the late Henry and Mollie (Schneider) Weber. He married Florence Michalski June 30, 1945, she predeceased him October 7, 1998. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from U.S. Graphite after many years of service. Reuben loved fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sons, James (Deva) Weber and Glen (Mary R.) Weber; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Besides his wife Florence and his parents, Reuben was predeceased by his son, Robert Weber.
Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2015, at St. Luke Ev. Lutheran Church, 5501 Gratiot Road. Rev. Mark Lindloff will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be rendered by VFW Post #1859. Friends may visit with the family at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
