"MRS. CAROLINE HARTING DIES
The death of Mrs. Caroline Harting, age 59, occurred last Thursday evening at her home in New Palestine, after several weeks' illness of pneumonia. She leaves the husband, Charles Harting, and five children: Mrs. Matilda Witte, Herman Harting and Ernest Harting of Cumberland; Benjamin and Freda, who live at home, and the mother, Mrs. Christina Schwartz, of Cumberland.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, followed by services at 2:30 o'clock at the Zion Evangelical Church in New Palestine. Burial was in the New Palestine cemetery."
