Siegfried Weber, aged 49 years, died on Sunday evening, July 31, 1887, after an illness of only a few hours. Mr. Weber was a member of the Knights of Honor Lodge and the G.A.R. Post, and the interment on Monday evening was under the direction of these orders.
He was born in Menzichen, Canton of Argau, Switzerland, in 1838; came to this country in 1854, and, with the exception of his term of service in the Union Army, had been a resident of Jennings County ever since.
