MARY MONICA (CAMERON) BRUBAKER

Mary M. Brubaker, 77, of 435 S. Antler St., Gladwin, died suddenly Monday, Sept. 8, in the Bay Medical Center, Bay City. She was born in Gladwin County Jan. 1, 1909, and had spent her lifetime here. Mrs. Brubaker was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ladies Sodality, House Extension Club, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and past president of the Altar Society. The former Mary Cameron, she was married to Dennis Brubaker Oct. 27, 1926, in Gladwin. He preceded her in death Aug. 9, 1985.
Surviving are 4 sons, Dr. Leo and Michael of Muskegon, Joseph of Midland and James of Gladwin, 4 daughters, Mrs. Willard (Anna Marie) Kehoe of Bay City, Mrs. Chester (Mary Lou) Moczulski of Pinconning, Mrs. Harold (Ruth Ann) Lockwood of Kansas City, Mo. and Mrs. Michael (Kathleen) Mullen of St. Johns; 31 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A daughter, Linda preceded her in death Jul 23 1942. Services were held today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Father Donald Christensen officiated and burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home.
