Irene J. Sanning, age 83, of Eldon, MO, died Sunday, July 20,
2003. She was born on June 1, 1920 in Mary's Home, MO, the daughter of Will
Frank and Katie (Schulte) Frank. She was married to Gilbert W. "Dick"
Sanning on September 12, 1939 in Mary's Home, MO. She was a housewife.
Survivors include: her spouse, Gilbert W. "Dick" Sanning of the
home; 1 daughter, Barbara Huhmann of Independence, MO; 2 sons, James A.
Sanning of Eldon, MO, and Richard W. Sanning, Eldon, MO; 7 grandchildren; 5
great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Elfie Meyerpeter, Jefferson City, MO. She
was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 22,
2003, at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, MO, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at the
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. James J. O'Sullivan officiating.
Interment will be in the Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett, MO. Memorials
are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
