Edward Beckman, 77, Kensington, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1993, at the Prairie Haven Nursing Home, Kensington.
Mr. Beckman was born Oct. 31, 1915, in Cedar Township, Smith County, and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a jeweler, a Boy Scout leader for many years and a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Kensington.
Survivors include a brother, Leonard of Kensington; and a sister, Linda Roggew of Lamars, Iowa.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John Lutheran Church, Kensington, Pastor Dan Breda officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Athol. The body was cremated.
