Mrs. Frank Rogers, 68, died at 10:40 a.m. today in the home of a daugher, Mrs. Frances Klitzsch, 416 Vista Terrace, following a stroke yesterday.
The former Augusta Murcewick, she was born Aug. 15, 1880, at Dundee, and had resided in Rockford since her marriage here May 9, 1909. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Klitzsch; one son, Vernon, Loves Park; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Fred and William, both of Elgin, and one sister, Mrs. William Bandt, Milwaukee, Wis.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Eric Oelschlaeger officiating. Burial will be in Willwood Burial Park. Friends may call Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at McAllister-Julian-Poorman Funeral Home, 304 North 5th Street.
