ALDEN - Mrs. Vada Dee Vincent, 78, died Tuesday at the Sterling Community Hospital after suffering a stroke two days ago. She was born April 25, 1884, at New London, Iowa. She was married to Joseph C. Vincent, Feb. 12, 1919 and has beenn an Alden resident since that time. He died in 1947.

Survivors: A daughter, Mrs. Myrna Gilmore, Aledo, Ill.; stepdaughters, Mrs. Wilma Keetch, Kansas Cily, Mo. and Mrs. Mildred Thien, Phoenix, Ariz.; a son, Ralph, rural Steriing and eight grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at the church, Rev. Portteus Latimer. Burial: Lyons Cemetery, Call: 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Crawford - Miller Mortuary, Lyons.
