Richard Uhle, 87, of Rte. 82, Hopewell Junction, died at home. He was a resident of Hopewell Junction for 31 years. He was a former resident of Pine Plains. He was a dairy farmer, retiring in 1944

Born in Germany May 27, 1877, he was educated there. He married in Germany in 1899. His wife, Mrs. Emilia Uhle, died in 1960.

Mr. Uhle was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Fishkill.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Peter Einimann, New York City, Mrs. John Albrecht, Hopewell Junction, and Mrs. Louis Rozell, Albany; five sons, Max, Fishkill Plains, Charles, Hopewell Junction, Harry, Maine, Frank, Newfield, and Karl Kusch, New York; nineteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held from the late home. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. The Auchmoody Funeral Home, Hopewell Junction is in charge of arrangements.
