Actor. Fernando Soto Astol, known by the nickname "Mantequilla" or "Mantequitas" was a Mexican comic actor from the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. He appeared in more than one hundred films from 1938 to 1977. He began acting in the 40s, in highly successful films, supporting in the films to legends of Mexican gold cinema such as Luis Aguilar, Pedro Infante, Jorge Negrete, David Silva, and acting with them in films such as "Rondalia," "Yo no me caso compadre," "Esquina bajan," "Cartas a Eufemia," "Los tres huastecos," "Los tres García," "Campeón sin corona," "México lindo," "Pepe el Toro," "Ustedes los ricos," among others.
