She was born Aug. 27, 1924, to Anna K. and Fredrick Schneider in Huntley. She moved to Billings in 1941, met William Foos, and they were married June 10, 1943. They shared 54 years together until William's passing on Oct. 27, 1997.
Anna Worked for Heights IGA for five years and Heights Lanes for ten years. She was a member of the Women's Bowling Association, and was inducted into the Women's Bowling Hall of Fame in 1984. She enjoyed playing the accordion and her organ, both of these were self taught. Her flower gardens were her pride and joy, as was her crochet work.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents; five brothers and two sisters.
Anna is survived by her three sisters, Marie Sherman, Leona Stanhope and Louise Bonneau; her five children, Alvin, William Jr. Sharon Simmons, Ron (Teresa) and Curtis, of all Billings; her ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Anna also leaves behind her beloved kitty, 'Simon'.
Our Mom was a loving and caring mother, and will be in our hearts forever.
Per Anna's request cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Her family would like to thank Rocky Mountain Hospice for their dedication and caring through this difficult time.
