He also ministered as a chaplain at St. Joseph Hospital, Houston. He was pastor of St. Mary Church, Freeport, 1971, St. Patrick Church, Galveston, 1976 and Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Hitchcock from 1982 until his retirement in 1998.
Vigil held in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Hitchcock on Sunday, September 17 and Funeral Mass celebrated on Monday by Bishop Joseph A. Fiorenza. Interment at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Houston, Tx.
