Louise V. Anderson, 91, died Oct. 4, 2015, in her apartment following a stroke. Louise was a graduate of Dorchester High School (1942) and of Grand Island Business College. Louise worked at the Lancaster Co. Extension Office and after retirement, she volunteered weekly for over 20 years at the Gere Library and at Tabitha. Louise was a kind and modest woman who loved her family and enjoyed many wonderful friendships. She lived happily at the Carriage Glen retirement community, and was cared for in her final years at the Bickford Cottage of Lincoln. Louise was an avid reader to the end.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Anderson, her parents, Frances A. and Henry E. Cerny of Pleasant Hill, and her nine siblings: Irene, Harold, Helen, Warren, Mary Ann, Ruth, John, Frances, and Jim. She is survived by her daughter Janis, of Boston, her son David, of Denver, her cousin Bernice Cerny Jeffries of Crete, sisters-in-law Joan Cerny and Darlene Cerny, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will begin at 11a.m. on Saturday, November 21, at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Mourners may gather 10 - 11 a.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, lower level, 6800 So. 14th St, Lincoln.
