Elsworth Henneberger, 95, of Waverly, passed from this life Monday, November 11, 2002, at the residence of his son, following an extended illness. He was born June 2, 1907, in Frankfort, the son of Charles and Flora Graham Henneberger.

Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Ron Smith, and Hazel and Cletus Oliver; daughters, Ethel Lavender and Kathryn McGraw; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Judy Henneberger, Charles and Christine Henneberger, and Elsworth Jr. and Lisa Henneberger; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Loebell Stage and Hazel Brooks; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents; a son, David Henneberger; his former wife, Pearl Newman; and a sister, Ollie Newman, preceded him in death.

Mr. Henneberger was a retired employee of Mead Paper, with 41 years of service, retiring in 1973. He was an avid horseman and, for many years, bred, raised, and showed horses.

Friends will be received at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Following cremation, private services will be held at the discretion of the family.
