On Friday morning of last week, Mrs. Catherine Ryan, a resident of this city for many years and well known and beloved in the parish of the Immaculate Conception, died at her late home, 87 Holden Street, at the age of 78 years. She was a native of Ireland and is survived by one son, Patrick Ryan, a well known steam fitter. Her funeral was held last Monday morning with requiem mass in Immaculate Conception church and interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
