Atley Hardy Dean, age 94, passed from this life to his eternal home with his
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
He was born on April 30, 1926, to Lester Hardy Dean and Lydia Vise Dean. He
was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, proudly serving in the
United States Navy. He also served in the Mississippi National Guard. He was
a lifelong member of Agricola Baptist Church. He was a small business owner.
Calling hours will be Friday, December 4, 2020, from 1:30-2:00 pm at Agricola Cemetery, Agricola Cemetery Road, Agricola, MS
A graveside service was held at Agricola Baptist Church Cemetery on Friday,
December 4, 2020, at 2:00pm. The service was led by Reverend Tommy
Mitchell. Sigler Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his daughters, Sherrie Dean of Brandon and Lynda Dean
Bobinger (Trey) of Madison; his granddaughter, Caroline Lydia Bobinger of
Jackson; and numerous extended family members and friends
He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Irene Elizabeth Dean, and
his parents.
Serving as pallbearers were: Alan Brown, Randy Brown, Casey Passeau, Clay
Passeau, Eric Purvis, Mitchell Summers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agricola Baptist Church.
