Robert "Robbie" Leo Rhoda, Jr., 62, of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at home.
Rob was born November 19, 1948 in Valparaiso to Robert Leo and Martha Joyce (Smith) Rhoda, Sr. who survive of Valparaiso. Also surviving are: one daughter, Stefanie (Rob) Walter; two grandsons: Luke and Kyle Walter of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Lynne (Doyne) Swinford of Indianapolis; two brothers: Brian (Gaylene) Rhoda of Valparaiso and Kevin (Mona) Rhoda of Bennington, NE. Robert graduated from Valparaiso High School and attended Purdue University.
He had been a drummer with several local bands and also worked in construction. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 3:30 PM at Moeller Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Porter County Humane Society. Moellerfuneralhome.com
