Service for Harold Florence Schulz, 78, were held at the Phillips & Luckey Chapel on October 8, 2007. Internment was in the Schulz Family Cemetery in Paige. Memorials may be sent to Paint Creek Building Fund or the charity of choice.
Harold died on October 5, 2007 at St. David's Medical Center in Austin.
He was born to William and Frieda (Ihlo) Schulz in Austin on March 31, 1929. Harold married Annie Jenke Schulz on November 23, 1950. He worked as an insurance salesman, was a veteran of the Army, an active member of the American Legion post in Giddings and was very involved with the Woodsman of the World.
Harold is survived by his wife, Annie Jenke Schulz of Paige; his sons: Barney and Betty Schulz of Round Rock, Aubrey and Carol Schulz of League City, Texas, Donnie Schulz of Paige; his brother, Charles and Barbara Schulz of Elgin; sister, Dorothy Brade of Lincoln; six grandchildren: Rachel Schulz of League City, Stacy and Tim McHale of Pennsylvania, Brian and Ellie Schulz of Japan, Von Schulz of San Marcos, Bretton Schulz of Lubbock, Allison Gullett of Houston; his great grandchild, Sadie Schulz of Japan; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leon Schulz; and five sisters: Irene Islet, Modean Raschke, Laverne Schulz, Pearl Eschberger and Gloria Fruzia.
