Laurene Esther Buehler passed from this life, Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her home, at the age of 97. Laurene grew up in Berthoud Colorado, she graduated from Berthoud High School. After high school she joined the Navy during World War II. After military service she returned to Berthoud, Colorado where she married Floyd W. Buehler, on July 21, 1946. She enjoyed basketball in high school. She also played basketball and softball in the Navy. Most important in Laurene’s life were faith and family. She was a homemaker most of her life. Her passion was working on her family genealogy and history. She wrote both her Starck family history book and Buehler history book. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, sewing, quilting with the church ladies, baking and spending time with her family.
Laurene was preceded in death by her husband Floyd W. Buehler and her granddaughter Kari Ann Buehler.
