Robert was born on March 10, 1948, in Oshkosh, WI to Robert and Rita Carow.
He grew up in Winneconne, WI and his first job was a paper route and then worked at Baitinger's grocery store throughout high school. In 1967 Crow graduated from Winneconne High School. He was drafted into the Army on May 16, 1968, and served in Vietnam from October 1968 to December of 1969. Bob was a member of the 35th Engineer Battalion and was a combat engineer and mine-sweeper. When he returned from Vietnam, he worked at Morgan Doors, J.I. Case and retired from the Leach Company. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, the Badgers and NASCAR racing. Crow also played cribbage with his buddies every week. In 2019 Robert participated in an Old Glory Honor Flight to Washington D.C., which was one of the high points of his life.
Robert is survived by two sisters, Marie Carow (Jim Eid), and Marlene Olson; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Randy and Carole Carow, Richard and Sue Carow, and Mike Carow; and nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John.
A private service and military honors will be held. Burial will follow in the Bell Cemetery, Winneconne. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family with arrangements.
