He was born in Russia, Oct. 8, 1906, a son of Gottlieb and Katherine Maertz Dietz. He came to the United States as a young man. Mr. Dietz left Sheboygan in 1941.
He was employed at Red Star Yeast Co. in Milwaukee until his retirement in 1970. He was married to Joan Huibergtse. I
Survivors are a son, Orrin of Brookfield; a granddaughter and. a grandson; two brothers, John of Kohler and Gottlieb of Sheboygan.
Sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Ramm-Zlegler Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Koch, pastor of St, Paul United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home afternoon on Wednesday until the time of services.
