Her maiden name was Susanna Dehs, and she was born in Leistadt near Dierkheim, Germany, December 5, 1852.
She was married in Germany to Thomas Ritter, who died in New York twenty-five years ago.
She came with him to this country in 1875 and settled in New York, where she lived until twenty-three years ago, when she moved to Utica. Mrs. Ritter resided in Utica until a few years ago, when she went to Cleveland to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Ulrich J. Klix.
Besides the daughter mentioned, Mrs. Ritter Is survived by six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Kruse, of
