Geisler, Christina
1830 - 1915
Christina Geisler was the wife of Thomas Geisler.
She was born in Bavaria, Germany and may have immigrated to the US in 1844, as stated in the 1900 census. She appears as Thomas' wife in 1850 in Collins Township.
In 1860 she had 3 children, Edward, David and Anna.
By 1870, when they started living in Shaler Township, she had 7 children, with John, William, Mary and Caroline added to the others.
By 1900 only daughter Mary was still in the household.
Christina died on March 8, 1915 in Etna at age 84. She was interred on March 11, 1915.

Born Dec. 25, 1830 in Germany. She was the daughter of Christ Schobert and wife, whose name was not reported on the death certificate.
She died in Etna on Jones Street as a widow. Cause of death was written as cystitis and senility.
Buried March 11th from the Holzheimer & Bock Funeral Home of Sharpsburg.
