November 3, 1947 ~ April 28, 2021 (age 73)

Carolyn Ann Chojnacky was born November 3, 1947 in Wendell, Idaho to parents Lee and Mildred Chojnacky, the first of 9 children. She passed away April 28, 2021 in Twin Falls, Idaho from recent health events and pneumonia.

Carolyn lived her entire life in Jerome and graduated in 1966 from Jerome High School. She then attended Twin Falls Business College. Carolyn had a long career at St. Benedict's Hospital in Jerome where she held various roles in the hospital billing department with insurance and Medicare claims and accounts payable and receivable. She was a dedicated employee and retired in 2014 after 46 years of service.

Carolyn's artistic talent could be seen in her beautiful handwriting and her skill of decorating lovely wedding cakes. Over the years, she decorated countless cakes for weddings and celebrations in the Jerome area, including all her sibling's wedding receptions, and special personalized birthday cakes for her many nieces and nephews. Carolyn was also a wonderful cook and made delicious items for every church or work potluck, holiday meal, or family gathering she attended. Everyone knew when Carolyn came in with a foil covered dish, whatever was inside would be scrumptious!

Carolyn was a lifelong member of St. Jerome's Catholic Church and was a selfless example of sharing her time and talents with many.
