Memorial services will take place Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Alta, Iowa. Visitation will take place from noon until the time of the service at the church. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
Valeria was born June 10, 1939 in Storm Lake, Iowa the daughter of Albert and Irene (Bumann) Lange.
Vee was baptized in 1939 and later confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Storm Lake.
Growing up, she attended school in Albert City and graduated from Albert City High School in 1957.
On June 21, 1959, Vee was united in marriage to William "Bill" Tutt at St. John Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. Together, they were blessed with four children: Randall, Roxanne, Gregory and Steven.
Vee was employed for many years by Buena Vista County in the Small Claims and Traffic Department until her retirement.
Vee enjoyed bowling, camping, bird watching and gardening and most of all, being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Bill Tutt of Storm Lake, Iowa; children: Randall Tutt of Storm Lake, Iowa; Roxanne (Don) Dreeszen of Spirit Lake, Iowa; Gregory (Lori) Tutt of Fort Worth, Texas; and Steven (Monica) Tutt of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Courtney (Michael) Emerson; Nathan (Lacey) Dreeszen; Kayla Dreeszen; Derek (Cecelia) Dreeszen; and Ben Tutt; great grandchildren: Christine, Lily, and Jack Dreeszen; Owen and Eli Dreeszen; sisters, Jan (Harold) Redenbaugh and Linda (Steve) Struthers; brother-in-law, Jim Yager; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Lange.
Vee was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Irene Lange; brothers, LeRoy and Melvin Lange; sister, Judy Yager; nephew, Michael Redenbaugh and granddaughter, Hannah Tutt; mother-in-law, Norma Haburn; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna and Don Haack; niece, Margo Townsend.
