John Henry Grobmeier, 55 life long resident of Shelby County died November 25, 1953 at Harlan hospital, from injuries suffered in a traffic accident.
He had been a member of St. Michael's Parish for twenty three years.
He is survived by his wife Viola, his mother Mrs Eva Grobmeier, two brothers, Fred of Pisgah and Leo of Omaha, four sisters, Mrs Lner of Lidderdale, Iowa, Mrs Harold Vance of Omaha, Mrs Mike Strutzell of New Orleans, La., and Miss Betty of Omaha.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 28, at St. Michael's church in Harlan.
Pallbearers were; John Henness, Alvin Rosmann, Clayton Mitton, Joseph Stracke, Raymond Thompson and Gerald Schneider.
Burial was at St. Joseph's Cemetery at Council Bluffs, Iowa.
