Marcella Piedalue
Marcella Hepp Piedalue, 80, of Ronan, died of natural causes June 27 at St. Luke Community Nursing Home in Ronan.
She was born Oct. 9, 1903, in the Bitterroot valley to Albert and Mary Hepp. She moved with her family to Polson where she graduated from school in 1922.
She married Edward A. Piedalue on June 12, 1922, in Polson.
Mrs. Piedalue was a charter member of the Friendly Neighbors; and a member of the Royal Neighbors, Hospital Guild, Catholic Women's Altar Society and other Catholic women's groups.
She preceded in death by her husband in 1977.
Survivors include four sons, Kenneth Piedalue, Albert "Bud" Piedalue and Eugene "Chief" Piedalue all of Ronan, and Floyd Piedalue, Clinton; a daughter, Mary "Peg" Johnson, St Ignatius; a brother, Jack Hepp, Santa Rose, Calif.; a sister, Billie Lambert, Warren, Ore.; 18 grandchildren and 28 great- grandchildren.
Rosary was recited June 29 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ronan, Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated June 30 at the church with the Rev. Gus Schmidt as celebrant. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Ronan under the direction of Shrider Mortuary.
