German actress, radio play actor and voice actor.

Emely Reuer - daughter of a factory owner - secretly took acting lessons. She had her first theater appearances in Bochum, Konstanz and Basel. Then she got an engagement at the Munich Residenztheater. She became known after a few smaller television roles in the years 1968 to 1970 as a detective assistant Helga Lauer alongside Erik Ode in the crime series Der Kommissar, where she participated in 18 episodes. Why the figure was deleted without replacement from episode 27 is unknown.

This was followed by roles in several erotic films and other television productions, as well as duties as a voice actress. She dubbed Jill Clayburgh (La Luna), Andréa Ferréol (The Last Metro), Jean Harlow (The Public Enemy) and Marie Colbin in the television series Confessions of the Conjurer Felix Krull, among others. She also played at several theaters in Munich such as the Münchner Kammerspiele.

Her last television roles include the portrayal of the mother in the television adaptation of Emmy von Rhoden's The Defiant Head. In 1970 she received the Golden Bambi from the magazine Bild + Funk as an award.

In addition, Emely Reuer was also active as a speaker in various radio plays.

Emely Reuer was married to actor Hans Cossy from June 11, 1965 until their divorce in 1969. After that she lived with the director Helmuth Ashley. With him she turned among other things. the spy thriller Kim Philby was the third man.

In the last years of her life, Reuer suffered from the consequences of a hereditary disease. She died of a cerebral haemorrhage. Her grave is in the cemetery of the town of Hornburg, a district of Schladen-Werla.
