Tibor Vass

Tibor Vass was born and raised in the city of Budapest, Hungry. Here he lived with his parents and siblings and although he was from a poor background, this did not stop Tibor excelling in every opportunity he was given.

Tibor was reported as being a highly intelligent individual. For one of his birthday's, his grandmother had gifted him a piano and before long, Tibor was able to naturally pick up all the chords without any assistance. He later became so skilled at the piano, that he was able to teach his younger sister. With his new hobby for the piano, Tibor became passionate about music.

Tibor's family life was good for a young boy born into a poor background and he had a very strong relationship with all of his family. However, in 2006, when Tibor was only fifteen years old – his father suddenly passed away and this led to a great struggle for Tibor's mother.

As the only son, Tibor believed he needed to take on the role of the father figure for his younger siblings and tried to support his mother as much as he could. However, Tibor was only young and although he offered ample amounts of support at home, his mother still struggled to make ends meet.

In 2008, Tibor applied for the University of Budapest, believing that if he completed a high-level education he would gain decent employment and be able to support his mother more with the expenses it took to raise a family.

Although extremely gifted, Tibor was denied a place at university. It was at this point that Tibor spoke to his mother about moving to the UK and gaining employment there. His mother must have supported this idea, as shortly later Tibor made his move to the UK.

It was in 2010, that nineteen-year-old Tibor gained employment at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel. The four-star hotel was located close to Heathrow and always had custom from numerous businessmen and women and here Tibor thrived.

Many who worked alongside him described him as a friendly, well-dressed and lovable individual. It was while working here, that Tibor became familiar with the manager – Attila Ban.

Attila Ban, 31, a Hungarian national of New Road, Harlington, was remanded in custody when he appeared at West London Magistrates' Court on Saturday, charged with the double murder. He also worked as a receptionist at the hotel.

Alice Adams and Tibor, both 20, were found dead at a house in Harlington in west London on Wednesday.
They both died of multiple stab wounds, and used to work together as receptionists at the Radisson Edwardian Heathrow Hotel.

Attila Ban, 32, was found guilty of stabbing Tibor Vass and Alice Adams, both 20, in the Radisson Edwardian Hotel's staff accommodation.

Ban was sentenced to at least 26 years.
