June 13, 1941 – March 11, 2021
Ron was born to Al and Maryann Balster in Wilmont on June 3rd 1941 along with his six younger siblings, Betty, Marlene, Elaine, Tom, Jean and Ken. He passed on March 11th, 2021.
Ron married his wife Sharon Peterson on April 18 1964 and lived in Worthington their entire lives. Ron worked at Campbell's Soup for most of his life and was also a lifer in the Army National Guard
He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and working with his dogs. But for those that really knew Ron, his major passion in life was to debate! Pick any topic you like and off you would go debating. At times it could get quite animated, but it was always in good fun.
The family will be having a Memorial Service for family and friends on June 26th at Centennial Park
