Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thurday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for George Breit, 75, 331 N. Golden, who died late Sunday March 25 at his home.
Mr. Breit worked in the Santa Fe Railways for several years before he retired.
He was born Aug. 30, 1908 in Topeka, the son of Ignatz and Catherine Breit.
Mr. Breit was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic and Santa Fe Old Timers Club. His wife preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Breit, Fort Lupton, Colo., and Jackie Breit, Denver; a sister, Helen Selenski in Illinois; and two brothers, John Breit, Detroit, Mich., and Mike Breit, Mariden.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Breit will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Brennan Funeral Home where a parish prayer service will be held at 8:45 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
