Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Mrs. Barbara Ann Artzer, 81, 618 Emmett, who died Sunday, Feb. 19, at her home. She was born Jan. 17, 1903, in Topeka, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann Kaberline Domme, and spent her life in Topeka.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers organization at the church.
She was married to John J. Artzer Sr. Sept. 28, 1920, in Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Ambrose V. Artzer and John J. Artzer Jr., both of Topeka; three daughters, Barbara C. Herman, Albuquerque, N.M., Ruth Ann Hueser, Bellevue, Neb., and Mary Lou Ziegler, Topeka; two sisters, Mary Hopkins, Barstow, Calif., and Frances James, Texas City, Texas; two grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be In Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 312 Freeman, or to. Hospice Inc., 1522 W. 8th. Brennan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
