Teresa "Rose" Weaver, 103, formerly of Third Avenue, Berwick died Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Sunset Ridge.
She was the daughter of the late John and Theresa (Kosarik) Yevich.
A graduate of Berwick High School, she went on to work in Camp Hill as a secretary until she met and married her husband, Kenneth.
They established residence in Richmond, Va., where Rose enjoyed taking care of Kenneth and their home. She also was an avid reader and loved to travel. After the death of her husband, Rose returned to Berwick to live with her sister, Dolores.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Kenneth; four sisters: Mary Sheptak, Ann Franz, Sue Kinney, and Dolores Yevich; and four brothers: John, Stephen, Andrew, and Eugene Yevich. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a member of Holy Annunciation Church of Berwick.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 29, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Mayo Funeral Home, 110 Chestnut St., Berwick, followed by a Requiem Service at noon at Holy Annunciation Orthodox Church, Second Avenue, Berwick, with the Rev. Michael Demko, her pastor, officiating.
Interment will be at Holy Annunciation Church Cemetery, Berwick.
