At age 70, died at home in Carmichael, CA., on Dec. 4, 2004.
Raised on a farm in Beattie, KS, he served in the military, married Patricia A. Bloom, and worked at Aerojet and as a finishing carpenter.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, drinking, fixing stuff, and a fascination with science and technology.
He had a sense of humor like a drunken sailor and was truly compassionate to those less fortunate.
He said his children were his greatest accomplishment.
He is survived by his children, Regina, Richard and Diana Dwerlkotte, and his siblings, Elizabeth Studer, Hilda Knight, Paul Dwerlkotte, Cece Oppedal, Henry Dwerlkotte and sister-in-law, Donna Dwerlkotte.
