Mrs. Anna L. Clark, 94, of Kinderhook, IL., passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Barry Community Care Center in Barry.

She was born January 18, 1928, near New Canton & El Dara, IL, to Harry & Luella (Miles) Dolbeare. They preceded her in death.

She married Arthur W. Clark on December 1, 1956, in Hannibal, MO. He preceded her in death on January 14, 1996.

She is survived by 2 sons, Wayne Arthur Clark of Albert Lea, MN and Rex William Clark, wife Kate, of Champaign, IL, 3 grandsons, Jacob, Matthew & Adam, wife Anyssa, all of Albert Lea, MN, 5 great grandchildren, Charlotte, Josie, Ryker, Asher & Sawyer, all of Albert Lea, MN, 1 sister Georgia Massey, husband Don, of Yucca Valley, CA, and 1 sister-in-law Betty Dolbeare, of Louisiana, MO.

In addition to her parents and her husband Arthur she was also preceded in death by 5 brothers, Hershel, Donald, Alfred, Raymond and Kenneth and 5 sisters, Marjorie, Fern, Lucy, Rachel, and Mary Ellen.

Anna grew up in the El Dara Christian Church where her great grandfather was an original founder. She worked as a secretary at the First Christian Church of Pittsfield and worked in medical records at Hannibal Regional Diagnostic Clinic. She served on the Kinderhook Town Board. Anna enjoyed being a member of the Red Hatters and was a member of her local book club.

When she was 79 she took her first overseas trip to Taiwan to see her daughter-in-laws family with her son Rex and his wife Kate for their Taiwanese wedding celebration. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and continued to stay active following his passing. She self-published a book after much research with a co-author about Pikes Peak Coast to Coast Road. People around Kinderhook well remember her driving in her red jeep around Kinderhook and Barry where she enjoyed going to the Hook Cafe and Wendy's as well as checking on her farm. Anna was all about her family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2022, at the El Dara Christian Church in El Dara.

Burial will be in Kinderhook Cemetery, Kinderhook, IL.
