Cải Lương stage actor and singer. Best known for his roles in stage such as Trần Mình in "Bên Cầu Dệt Lụa," Lê Hoàn in "Thái Hậu Dương Vân Nga" and Lê Long Hồ in "Tuyệt Tình Ca." Born Nguyễn Văn Thu in Phước Hiệp. To support his family, he went on to catch fish in the sea at age 8. After being fascinated with Cải Lương and vọng cổ, he begin his career and join Ngọc Kiều theater troupe. Throughout his acting career, he starred in the theater productions such as "Chiều Đông Gió Lạnh Về" and "Tuyết Phủ Chiều Đông." In 1964, he won a Thanh Tâm prize for his performance in "Cô Gái Đồ Long." In addition to his stage career, he recorded tân and vọng cổ. Following the reunification of Vietnam, he continued his career and went on to starred as Thi Sách in "Tiếng Trống Mê Linh" with Thanh Nga. He was awarded "Meritorious Artist" by the Vietnamese government.
