Military figure. He was a legendary commander of the 2nd Knights Brigade of ARBiH and one of the key people for the defense of Sarajevo during the siege and Bosnian National Hero. Before the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, he joined the Patriotic League and was one of its most active members. At the very beginning of the Siege of Sarajevo, he worked on organizing and preparing the defense in the Sarajevo settlements of Buča and Boljakov Potok, Briješče. He was killed on June 17, 1993 in the fighting for Mijatovića kosa near Sarajevo. He was buried in the cemetery of Ali Pasha's Mosque in Sarajevo.
